Method 3: Compile MiniTube. Once you have your personal key you can to compile Minitube. Both minitube-aur and (previously) minitube-bin have some unusual or unneeded things, like that .install file.

In minitube-bin don't skip hashcheck and don't unneeded msg2

Hello, this pkgbuild should have been called minitube-bin from the start.minitube-bin exist and was abandoned by its maintainer, I' have adopted it and added you as co-maintainer.

Thanks! My automatic updater isn't so automatic since I switched from crontab to systemd and am still to write a service for it :/ since it's a monolith, I'm going to have to rewrite the whole thing while I'm at it. I'll use your code snippet in that as the current version downloads the deb and unpacks it to look for the latest version, which is way less efficient.

I had to change the sha256sum for minitube.deb to get this to work; not sure if just me.
